Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Computer Science
Making its debut in the fall term of 2014, the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Computer Science (ACS) program is focused on being less formal and more applied to provide a considerably better-rounded and balanced university education with a strong liberal arts background. Within the 123-credit program, students will be required to declare an interdisciplinary major in Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Applied Statistics and Data Analysis, Information Security and Assurance, Mathematics, or Geographical Information Systems. Unlike the other undergraduate degree program, the courses will be delivered in an innovative flipped hybrid-online model with many lectures offered online from anywhere in the state with selective on-campus seminars and practicum experiences.
Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science
Designed to meet Georgia’s increasing workforce demand for competencies in computer science and information technology, the Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science program features a seamless blend of theoretical foundations in computer science with hands-on practical experience with state-of-the-art computing technologies. With both full-time and part-time study plans available for flexible class attendance options, the program provides students with opportunities in computer science research, interdisciplinary study, and advanced project development. The master’s degree program is available to serve the learning needs of students who have a bachelor’s degree in computer science as well as those with an un-related undergraduate degree with required additional prerequisite coursework.

Computer Science – Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
Structured to feature a breadth and depth of exposure to essential segments of the computing discipline, the Computer Science – Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program aims to equip undergraduate students with the fundamental scientific and technical areas of computer science in order to find success as computing professionals and/or as graduate students. With full accreditation through the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the program is effective at ensuring all graduates will be capable of applying software development theories to the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of software systems. As an advanced intensive program that is designed to transport graduate students to the frontiers of knowledge in one of the key areas of computational sciences, the Ph.D. in Computer Science program delivers a blend of theory and practice to prepare graduates for careers in advanced development at hardware/software companies, research at industrial research laboratories, and teaching at colleges or universities.
